It’s a big project with a tight turnaround time — Darren Riggott
Riggotts stay front of the line with government contract
The UK’s leading line marking company Riggotts, has beaten off national competition to win a nationwide contract with the Driving Standards Agency. In just one month, the Nottinghamshire-based firm will re-mark the linings at all 64 of the Agency’s Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) test centres.
This includes reducing the size of the LGV manoeuvring areas at sites throughout Great Britain, from the Shetland Islands and Orkney to Exeter, the Isle of Wight and Cornwall. Greg Piper, property manager at the DSA, said: “Reducing the size of the manoeuvring area for LGV tests will improve the use of existing sites, making it easier to develop new ones. This will help to ensure we can provide a local LGV testing service, convenient for candidates as well as being cost effective.”
Darren Riggott, managing director at Riggotts, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded the DSA contract. “It’s a big project with a tight turnaround time, but we have deployed four dedicated specialist teams across the UK to ensure that the job is completed on time and to the client’s standards. “Riggotts specialise in completing jobs of any size in short time periods, so this contract gives us the chance to really show what we can do.”Back
