After 16 years of operating from within the cramped confines of Wincanton Primary School, South Street Pre-School finally has a space of its own in Wincanton centre. The newly built building provides the preschool with an office and reception area, in addition to a kitchen, play area and quiet room. The preschool’s new location allows for increased enrolment, and will also free up space at Wincanton Primary for an additional classroom.
But what’s a newly built preschool without a safely lined car park? After Turner’s Ground Works Ltd was let down by a sub-contractor, Riggotts were contacted at the last minute to rescue the project. Less than 24 hours before the lining work was due for completion, Riggotts agreed to line the school’s car park with high quality thermoplastic paint. As per usual, the Riggotts crew – comprised of Taunton team members Matthew Priddle and Nigel Strickland – provided excellent service and got the job done quickly and efficiently.
With delineated areas for pupils to safely walk around the building, and clearly marked parking spaces and handicapped bays, South Street Pre-School’s car park is ready to welcome new students and their families. Riggotts is proud to have a reputation for quality and reliability amongst contractors, and was thrilled to receive the call to help with this project. With 42 crews across the UK operating 24 hours per day, there’s no job too big, small or last minute for the Riggotts Team!
